Colin Pearce

Adventurer, swordsman, ballroom dancer, once voted Best Dressed Man of 1933, I took to the drums fairly late in life at the tender age of 19, when the world was fresh and young and slightly moist.

I played in exciting, punky bands with some school friends, getting nowhere but having fun, but then life found me and the drums took second place to marriage, mortgages and children.

Many, many years and a couple of wives later, the drums called me once more and I found myself playing in a blues band, Big Blue This, in the year 2004. We played on the local scene and even managed to get a slot at the Lymington Blues Festival in 2004 and 2005! I then joined a local rock covers band, the Buttmonkeys, playing Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and all your favourite classics, until that folded in 2007.

Now I am with Sun Machine... the future’s bright, the future’s Sun Machine- shaped!
