Bio: Tim Clayton

I’m a lifelong lover of music of pretty much every sort. I live for playing and find that writing helps me get through the ups and downs. I get off on songs. I’ve found I’ve got something to say, found great friends who can help me say it and hope people want to hear it, appreciate it and dance to it.

I’m inspired by my bandmates and heroes new and old, from Led Zeppelin, the Beatles, Neil Young and Doves through Neil Finn, Jeff Buckley, P.J. Harvey, Joy Division, the Clash, Gang of Four and XTC to the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Kylie (with the sound up or down).

As you’ll see on my gear page, I love sunburst and black. Given the money I’d love red, cherry, gold and white as well.
